We have only been in Cambodia for a week, so it is hard to say much past first impressions. The city seems nice. There are more mopeds than cars on the streets, as it is easier to get around (they can go in between cars and such). Additionally, rush hour and traffic are really hectic, though I cannot say it is as bad as rush hour back home, where cars are literally stopped. Here traffic is constantly moving, with people going around people, and a lot of mopeds passing. The speed limit is not very fast, which is good since jaywalking seems to be acceptable (though to be fair I don’t see many other people doing it but us. Actually, I don’t see many people walking to their destination except us).

It rains a lot here, but not constantly, which is good. If you are lucky, you can get to work and back home without getting a drop of rain, but it poured over three times while you were working. It’s nice because the environment get’s rain, but it’s not raining every second of every day. However, it does mean you must always carry an umbrella with you because you never know when it will suddenly start pouring.
